To kick off the fall semester, Columbia Students for Justice in Palestine will be having its first official meeting on Monday September 27th followed by a screening of multiple award-winning documentary Slingshot Hip Hop.
Join us on Monday Sept 27th from 8-10 PM at 603 Hamilton Hall, learn about our plans for the year, have your questions about Palestine answered, and find out how you can get involved!
Slingshot Hip Hop is a film that follows the stories of Palestinian hip hop artists living in Gaza, the West Bank and inside Israel. “From internal checkpoints and Separation Walls to gender norms and generational differences, this is the story of young people crossing the borders that separate them.”
